Product Description
Lignocel 12.5kg - Large bag
This is our substrate of choice, all our snakes here at Wild World Reptiles are kept on it. We have been using it for years and find it to be the best we have seen. It is used by many big breeders all over Europe.
It is virtually dust free and very absorbant.
It is increasing in popularity very quickly and we can't get enough of it!
Lignocel is:
- a wood based product originally produced for various technical and industrial processes, including seed coating, structure-reinforcing and filling in composite materials and plastics, and as an organic filtration medium for many types of technical filtration.
- produced in Germany to German quality control standard DIN ISO 9001. It is made from untreated, unbleached wood from managed reforestation projects. The same base product is used in many Chipsi bedding materials.
- is soft, absorbent and digestible. It is an ideal bedding for animals that like to burrow as there are no sharp pieces. Its absorbent nature means it also absorbs odours better than many other bedding materials.
- A great alternative to substrates like aspen.

Use Lignocel and never go back

There are cheaper options out there but I like the best for my reps , been using this for over 2 years now and will never change .
Dust free , very absorbent and holds it's smell for much longer .

after asking around for lignocel substrate at lots of shops and getting no were i found it on line at wild world reptiles . lignocel is an excellent substrate my corn snake loves it she is always burrowing in it + it looks good in the viv as well .

Great for Rhino Iguanas

I bought this for my Rhino Igs viv as i was unhappy using orchid bark for his substrate due to it not being very absorbent and the Ig would then walk through his mess and spread it all over his viv...now ive filled his viv with this my life is so much easier!! Just clumps around his mess and soaks up any liquid. I just then spot clean daily. Great value too. I put the full bag in his 12ftx3ft viv and it must be 6 inches deep everywhere so next time i will probably just use half-i never would've thought it would've gone so far. No dust either so the room is alot less dusty also!
